I had just bought a brand new 1997 Savage. Have not been on a bike for at least 20 years. Hubby convince me I'd have no problem riding it home, once I got on everthing would come bake. WRONG The dealer and hubby went over on all the controls, heavly on how to go, lightly on how to slow down. To make a long storg short. I got on put it in gear added gas. Had more tork then I expected. Paniced applied break. But didn't let go of throttle. 20 new feet on this nice new bike and I crashed. I know remember watch road rash was. Hubby convince me to let him trade it on a new bike for him. Went through a couple old hondas. But thank god I got anothter Savage this winter. Had it out only once on a nice winter day. Looking forward to SPRING.
Everyone now just call me Crash!!
